The Eddoc software enables you to process print-ready documents in PDF, PostScript and lineprinter-format without changing the supplying applications.

Examples of document re-engineering options are:

  • Adding OMR-codes, barcodes and 2D-codes
  • Merging documents for batch printing
  • Compiling and splitting of printing jobs
  • Separation of mail packs according to size
  • Adding of texts and pictures
  • Control of in- and output trays and finishing options

Imposition/MakeBooklet/Duplex

The N-Up Imposition component conditionally places a sequence of pages into a structure of rows and columns that is printed on an output sheet. You have the option to shift, scale, rotate, and decide the size of gutters. Easily place invoice pages on paper for continuous feed printers or repeat images for business cards.
The MakeBooklet component impositions pages into a booklet. Easily generating duplex 2-up pages which can be folded at once into a booklet. Use this component to quickly and automatically print informational mailings or customized books
The Edit Duplex component conditionally converts simplex to duplex pages and vice versa. When converting simplex pages to duplex, you can insert empty pages or merge two simplex pages into one duplex sheet. Conveniently save costs while being environmentally aware.

Barcodes

Easily generate barcodes and OMRs for your documents with Eddoc Weaver to increase efficiency in both production and marketing today. Codes store information in a compact form to measure processes, personalized information for customers, and collect valuable marketing information. Both internal and external data are carried within a barcode. Internal data include barcodes or OMRs that drive finishing machines and send information back to databases. External uses of barcodes include postal information and directing customers to websites and additional information. To read the barcodes, scanners, printers, smartphones, and special applications can be used. Barcodes:
