Eddoc Xtra

Eddoc XTRA (XML Transformation Architecture) is a new development from Edmond. The core functionality is the transformation of XML data into a readable document using a XSL-FO style sheet. It is available as a separate JAVA library or combined with the Eddoc Weaver product. In combination with Eddoc Weaver, Eddoc XTRA is the XML input filter for the next processing step. Eddoc XTRA takes a XML file as input and performs following functions:

• Validation of the XML file
• Transformation of the XML file to a new, changed XML file
• Document creation using XSL-FO style sheets
• Document creation using HTML
• Re-use text blocks in multiple documents
